Do yourself a favor and allow this wine to decant for at least 2 hours if not longer. Decanted for an hour believing this would be enough time for the wine to open up. At first I was not that impressed. Very bland no tannins, it wasn't horrible but it was anything to write home about. At the time I didn't think I would purchase this wine again. We left it decanting, believing we would not finish drinking it, and opened up a Pinot Noir we new and trusted. We finished that bottle and went back to this wine just to see if anything had changed. Wow! It had completely changed! It had more of a full body and it delicately wrapped itself around the tongue leaving a lingering great taste. All the things I love from my wines. Now, I will definitely purchase this wine again. So note to self...in the future, if a wine is bland, give it time, it might just surprise me.

Inspired by the signature golden hills that frame the landscape of their San Bernabe Vineyard at the southern edge of the Santa Lucia Mountain range, Deep red with aromas of berry fruit and sweet notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry with cacao and current notes, gentle acidity, nicely balanced. Lingering finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy tones.

Very nice, a baby Belle Glos, with slightly less density, but still a silky mouthfeel and bright cran-cherry core.

Nice full bodied Pinot. Deep, rich color and black cherry with notes of blueberry. Very smooth and nice. It's a different drinking Pinot, but that sits well with me. Lots to love about this one

Juicy, ripe and full. Notes of spice, vanilla, raspberry pound cake. Medium plus acid, medium body. Would buy again!

Dark fruit, flavorful, strong vanilla presence. Really rich and resonant.

Silky vanilla robust yet balanced. Not what I think of when I think PN but good.

I’m not normally a fan of Pinot noir but we got this as a gift and it was sooo good. The bottle is a PITA to open though...
