Light straw colour with notes of bread, lemon, pear, apricot and white flower on the nose. Lively and ample mousse with a bright acidity. On the palate, lemon, tart green apple, unripe pear, white peach with some chalk and wet stone minerality. Long finish with a lemon zing and brioche. Very enjoyable but still very young and will be awesome in another 5 years! — 4 years ago
Great strong fruit aroma--I notice pear and pineapple. Creamy and super buttery. The buttery mouthfeel and taste is taken to crazy levels with a creamy pasta...preferred over sipping without food as sensations became dulled. Finish is wonderfully long and exactly what you want if you're looking for a buttery chardonnay. Good value...priced perfectly for taking to a dinner with friends...I loved it and can also see it being appreciated by people "not really into wine" — 6 years ago
Lovely aroma of apple, peach, pear, honey, and lime. On the palette, toast, nuts, sunflower seeds, crisp Granny Smith apple. Honey finish. — 8 years ago

Wild at four days open. Bruised Pear in spades, saffron, wool, honey. — 11 years ago
Always love to get my hands on a wine from Corton-Charlemagne.
2009 vintage has a roasted almond flavor with baked pear and bruised apple. Nice acid but the finish drops of a little early. Still. A great representation of the region and variety. This is what I grew up on. — 11 years ago
Smooth and soft apple tones and some pear and honey. — 9 months ago
Aromatic pear and apple, crisp, fresh acidity. — 3 years ago
Very very light and diluted straw color. Lemon & honeysuckle on the nose. Palate is a bit heavier than I anticipated. Plenty of lemon citrus, white peach, nectarine, some green melon, underripe green pear, and some mineral notes. Tart, but lingers on the palate. I dislike using this word but it’s very quaffable, as they say 🙃. A crowd pleaser. — 5 years ago
Classic California Chardonnay fruit tones of pear and green apple with a creamy nectarine finish. Elegant like the label. Look forward to seeing how it opens up. Very nice🥰 — 6 years ago
V17 (so 2017 vintage) April 2019 disgorgement. These wines are made as a single vintage, single vineyard, single varietal and very low dosage. A darling of the grower champagne movement.
The fruit here is crazy intense, both aromatically and on the palate. Spiced prickly pear, mango, oxidized apple and wild herbs. It’s racy and nervy on the palate sporting honeyed stone fruits, limestone and sea salt. Didn’t pick up much yeast character as this is fairly lean, but the slight autolysis flair was welcomed and gave this a nice boost in complexity. For being so low in dosage, this is surprisingly (in a good way) full bodied and even somewhat creamy in texture. Very enjoyable. Thanks for helping me get my hands on a bottle @joe leatherwood . — 6 years ago

Yes I'm buzzed but this cider is amazing. Delicate with burnt marshmallow and can smell the dried pear — 9 years ago
Pear and green apple on the nose, almond butter, and caramel glazed toast on the palate. Beautiful. — 10 years ago
Presence of oak, fruit such as pear and peach. Very silky on palate, creamy finish. Excellent wine, paired well with scallops and mushroom risotto. — 11 years ago
Smooth, pear, pineapple....wonderful citrus finish. 2012 vintage, great bottle of wine — 11 years ago
Fresh apricot, glazed almond, nutmeg, and cardamon spice. Layered with honeysuckle, pear, and green apple. There is a short crust, pear tart character on the nose. Still so grab and lively on the palate. Stone fruit, orchard fruit, toasted almonds, and Danish butter cookies. Linear acidity with bright, zesty finish with pithy lemon notes and tart apple. Lingering finish with a touch of warm spice. Waited a while to pop this one - it was well worth the wait! — 3 years ago
Pale straw coloration. On the nose, yeast and pear. On the palate, honey, yeast and pear. Nicely balanced. $55 at B-21. — 4 years ago
Starting the long Labor Day weekend in Big Sur the right way with a little N/V Krug Grande Cuvée. @Nepenthe
Happy Labor Day weekend all! 🍾🥂
Noses reveals; heavy bruised red apple, Bosc pear, overripe pineapple, lemon meringue, tropical melons, lime zest, white spice, sea fossils, deep crisp chalkiness, grey volcanics, yeast & bread dough, nougat, baguette crust, limestone, caramel notes, cream, vanillin framed in yellow lilies, white & spring flowers & mixed greens.
The palate is, ripe, lush, fresh and lively. The mouthfeel all Krug beautiful. Bruised red & golden apple with hints of cider, Bosc pear, overripe pineapple, lemon meringue, tropical melons, white stone fruits, lime zest/candy, white spice, sea fossils, crisp chalkiness, grey volcanics, yeast & bread dough, nougat, baguette crust, limestone, caramel notes, cream, cream soda, vanillin framed in yellow lilies, spring flowers & mixed greens. The acidity is near perfect. The long, elegant, well knitted & balanced finish is gentle until the long set when you get a full presence of white spice and minerality that persists for minutes.

An amazing Vintage Champagne! A perfect column of fine and persistent bubbles in the glass. Aromas of yellow apple, brioche, fresh oak and Parmesan Cheese rind. Pear, white peach, citrus and crusty bread flavors on the pallet. Creamy and silky texture. This one could have stayed in the bottle longer, but we could not help ourselves. Stately and Elegant. Thank you, Kase! — 6 years ago

Pale yellow color. Aromas of stone fruit, white flowers and citrus. Very interesting flavor melange of pear, lemon, orange and pineapple. Slight stony note on the long lasting finish. Very crisp acidity and an interesting slightly creamy texture. Elegant, fresh, crunchy and lively! Very solid for its price point. — 9 months ago
