It’s a pity. After I tried this wine and learned more about the winery and pago where the winery is located, the technical director told me that I had drunk one of the last bottles of this #garnachatintorera #tintorera #alicantebouschet — 2 months ago

Pago de Larrainzar

Reserva Raso de Larrainzar Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

" The hint of chocolate and a spice underneath classic tempranillo flavors of black cherry and plum make this elegant 2013 a wine all its own." A 90 point rating by Suckling. I love this wine! — 2 months ago

Pago de los Capellanes

Tinto Crianza Ribera del Duero Tempranillo Blend 2016

Massive jammy nose with lots of stewed prunes. Palate is much more restrained and complex. Silky mouthfeel. Still a big wine but a good lick of savoury spice. There is just enough acid and tannin to keep the beast in check. — 24 days ago

Terredora di Paolo

Pago dei Fusi Taurasi Aglianico 2010

Vintage 2010 | I can appreciate this Aglianico more now, than one year ago. Smell of ripe summerfruit, cedar, tertiary tones that makes me smile. Good balance. Nice acidity. Fine structure. Taurasi is interesting. Paired with wild boar ravioli. — 2 months ago

Sounds like a great pairing @Peter van den Besselaar 😀

Pago de los Capellanes

Joven Roble Ribera del Duero Tempranillo Blend 2018

The nose was slightly warm and pruny which suggested an overblown/overripe wine but the palate, while full bodied and rich was balanced by decent tannins and just enough savoury wood spice to give balance. — 24 days ago

9.1

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, dark cherry, dark berry, dark chocolate, espresso bean, vanilla, leather, earth and minerals. On the palate, rich, full bodied, cherry, currants, vanilla, chocolate, florals, and a long floral finish. A slight bitterness on the palate. — a month ago

Bodegas Hidalgo

Wellington 20 Years VOS Palo Cortado Sanlúcar de Barrameda Palomino Fino

VOS (very old Sherry), 100% Palominofrom the estate’s vineyards in Pago de Miraflores in Sanlúcar (just 3km. from the Atlantic Ocean) and Balbaína in El Puerto de Santa María, also exposed to the Poniente winds from the Atlantic. Due to this Atlantic influence, wines from these Pagos tend to be lighter, more delicate than those further inland, and this is a great example. Delicate, elegant nose with aromas of orange peel, raisins and a hint of spices. Slightly salty (clealy Sanlúcar). Persistent, hazelnuts — 2 months ago
