The oak is restrained and the jamminess is less than in recent releases. A bit of decanting helps to reduce the jam factor a lot.
I’m still not completely sold on the “new and improved” Langtry wine style, but I see this as a solid step in the right direction, perhaps someday restoring Old Soldier Road to its former greatness. — 6 months ago
A little more elegant and lower acidity than other sparklingly wines. A pale pink pastel. — 3 years ago
Very nice wine. Amazing for such an old wine. Showing its age a bit but still a fine cab. — 3 years ago

Medium purple in color; blackberries, blueberries, and oak on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blueberry jam, black plum, crushed gravel, and a little eucalyptus with a long finish. I really like this wine. Nellie likes it too. — 24 days ago
