Takes the reins as best ever Dunn Cabernet for me…needed 45 mins out of Magnum, nose all Bordeaux of cedar and cigar box with a touch of cassis. Velvety palate, layers of red cherry and chocolate espresso bean, long, long finish. Find and drink now if you can. — 13 hours ago
Ok this is just fantastic. I don’t think people understood how great this was given when we got to it but it was probably wine of the night. — a month ago
Face off of the 2010 Cabernets with FirstLight Steak tenderloin. Dancing Bear comes out the winner with a touch more fruit and depth to it over the Quilceda Creek. Both wines decanted 90 mins. Smooth yet complex. — 10 days ago
Concentrated, focussed fruit, deeply penetrating and revealing layers of dark flavor infused with potent tannins. Not for the ‘faint of heart’ — a month ago
Yes, exceptional wines! Revealing the high potential of the Columbia Valley of Washington with clonal selections of Cab Sauv. They also produce a more budget friendlier cvr blend that is still in a league by it selves. One of the first wineries in Washington State established back in the late nineteen seventies. They own and manage some very famous vineyards along the Columbia River. Their nearly entire wine making team left in 2021 which was a shocker so we will have to see how they overcame that. So far so good 😊
1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Dark fruit on the nose with subtle cedar. Classic Napa sweetness on the palate with ample candied fruit, bramble, and sneaky complexity. Great depth and long finish. — 19 days ago
Light oaky and buttery Chardonnay! These are not as popular as they used to be, but this one is quite balanced and notes of green pear and citrus… — a month ago
