Deep, rich aromas of leather and black fruit. Silky mouthful with easy tannins. Excellent sip! — 16 days ago
Solid SB. More round with the oak influence that took away the brightness I would look for in a SB. I guess I’m not really into BDX white blends. — a month ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black fruits, cedar, wild flowers, vanilla, chocolates and spices.
Full-bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing blackberries, cooked cherries, blueberries, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, black pepper, light earth and bitter herbs.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and extracted. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime.
This 18 year old is showing a great nose at this point.
I had a few vintages of this wine and it is always delicious.
Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with fillet mignon.
14.3% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Excellent really. Sweet Pinot Fruit. Cherry 🍒 mostly. Just 13.5%. Very refined. Like a Burgundy at a much better price point. Planted in 1996 to Pommard, Wadenswil and 114. Dry farmed! Needs at least 2 hours of air. Teanotes, … fresh! In my book one of the top 10 Pinots in the US. — a month ago

Mother Mary of God! Near Pomerol like. Charles Hendricks masterpiece. Menthol & a touch of mint.
Stunning vintage & wine.
This 07 is in perfect shape…at its peak. Still has 7 plus years of life.
Black raspberries, black raspberries, black plum, dark cherries, purple fruits, dark chocolate/pudding, dark spice, clove, nutmeg, softened, cinnamon stick, vanilla, dark, rich soils, moist, limestone mush, black tea, black licorice, bay leaf, salted caramel, dryish twig, menthol, mint, volcanic ash, sandalwood, dark withering to candied, red, blue florals, lavender framed in violets with perfect acidity and a amazingly, structured, well knitted/tensioned and elegantly polished finish that lasts minutes falling squarely on earthy minerality.
Second wine with an Allen Brither’s Ribcap recently bought on the secondary market for $55.
