Freshly baked bread on the nose. Not acid driven although it has enough to let it age some more. More on the rich, creamy side. Easy drinking.
Edit: After an hour the acidity came through, 93-94 after some air. Cannot update my score after the latest update of the app. — 8 months ago
Light bodied without being a pushover. Bright fruit, almost a bit green like unripened strawberries with a constant bitter note throughout - like unsweetened cacao nibs — 2 years ago

Very good and concentrated pinot! — 5 months ago
Distinctive bouquet characterised by aromas of black and red fruits, intensified by woody and smoky notes. The wine reveals delicious mouthfilling backed by beautiful fullness and velvety tannins. A harmonious combination that produces a silky, warm wine that perfectly reflects the nature of its terroir. — 7 months ago
Very delicious Pinot, but was expecting a little more complexity. Wonderful pairing with salmon. — 4 years ago

2022/8. As I’ve noted lately, it feels like the de Villaine whites have added another level in the last several years - deeper, more complex and more satisfying, without sacrificing any joyousness and without trying to be Meursault or anything like that. — 4 years ago
