Deep purple, with a captivating nose of chalky blackberries, plum sauce, and Asian five spice. It just keeps drawing you in. Plenty of good fruit on the palate, not overly dry. Amazing structure with velvety tannins. The amazing finish on this wine lingers for at least a minute. To my taste, this is Cabernet at its finest and probably the best wine I’ve had. I would like to compare it to the Maybach Amoneous as it previously held my favorite all time wine position. I’m saddened that with Realm purchasing Houyi, Modus Operandi will probably not be able to make this fantastic expression of Houyi vineyard. I need to stock up!!! — a year ago

Mag with2 hour decant, great 🥩 wine.
Having a problem with the fruit forward wines nowadays, too sweet.
Most Beckstoffer, all Caymus, Bevan, Maybach and many others. This is not one of those. — 3 years ago

This slipped down so well.
Roasted lemons and almonds on the nose. Palate is lithe and roundish. Not a huge amount of complexity, but enjoyable nonetheless. Lacking acidity, implying this these should be consumed now. — 9 months ago
