Palate has energy and purity for days plus awesome sappy texture and grippy but sweet tannins and wonderful sappy cherries. Good freshness and texture and very nimble. I called this Alsatian Pinot Gris as there was a fair amount of fleshy, yet round, fruit skin. Cantaloupe and melon, mainly. But about 30mins later, the sweetness jumped out of the glass and it became a nice example of German Riesling. Just needs time. — 6 years ago
