Weekly Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3-4 whites, 3-4 reds and 1 dessert wine format. Served blind.
I called this Alsatian Pinot Gris as there was a fair amount of fleshy, yet round, fruit skin. Cantaloupe and melon, mainly. But about 30mins later, the sweetness jumped out of the glass and it became a nice example of German Riesling. Just needs time. — 7 years ago

What a nose. Spice, cocoa, earth and very complex. Cherries as well. Super expansive. Leather and wood shavings. Cherry liquer. Wow. Stunning aromas. Palate has energy and purity for days plus awesome sappy texture and grippy but sweet tannins and wonderful sappy cherries. Good freshness and texture and very nimble. This has serious structure and will age very very well. — 4 years ago
Frisk, lett vin med bærtoner, veldig fruktig. Veldig god, må kjøpe igjen — 6 years ago
Not bonedry but nice balance with acidity. White fruit, good lenght making this a good buy. — 6 years ago
Delightful. Harmonious. Truly ‘feinherb’.
Candied citrus notes, honeysuckle, grilled pineapple, wet rocks. Sweetish Spatlese-like entry, finish mimicking a rich Trocken. This juice improved significantly over the years!
Great length, good purity, drinking at peak. — 4 years ago
Juicy red fruits and some stones. Sharp, refreshing acidity and a light/medium body. Chuckable and nice with a slight chill. — 6 years ago
