Super sweet but would be AMAZING in a mixed drink! — 5 years ago
Ice sweet sipping refreshing wine. Definitely taste the mango and strawberry — 5 years ago
Had another bottle in my cellar. Hall, located in Napa Valley, employs organic small-vine viticulture. Straw with green edges and fragrant aromas of tropical fruit and citrus zest with hints of complex spice. The palate shows fresh fruit flavors of peach, mango, lemon, and notes of creamy honey. The wine has lively acidity on a medium length finish ending with mineral tones. Good value! Very Nice! The '16 developed nicely over the year + sitting in my cellar. — 6 years ago
Tropical and mineral nose, pineapple and mango. While the fruit somewhat dominates, it is a nice dance on the palate of fruit, acidity and earthy flavors. It is a wine with character as any white from the Tre Venezie area in Italy. This wine is from a local grape called Kerner. From Karen McNeil’s Wine Bible: the grape was created by crossing the red Schiava grape with white Riesling grape... explains the fruit forward characters if the wine. — 7 years ago
Very refreshing and lightly sweet with a subtle fizziness. — 7 years ago
Color of beautiful saturated gold. Nose is nutty, with some mango and peachy flavors. Taste of ample acidity to balance the nutty flavors. After acidity fades away, more nutty flavors and fruits come up. Very round and full structured Chardonnay. Aftertaste is long and very enjoyable, with nice sprinkle of zest. Overall, she is a nicely made full structure Chardonnay that surpasses the taste of many other expensive white. — 7 years ago
Initially reticent and needing 30 minutes of air to fully express itself aromatically, the 2006 Chateau Rieussec opens with a lighter bouquet of butterscotch, buttered popcorn, mango and ginger undertones. The palate shows really good freshness and intensity with a good sense of minerality. Pineapple creme brulee, poached pear, bananas foster and nutmeg flavors complete this beautiful wine. The exceedingly long, finish lingers and rounds out this complete wine. What this doesn’t possess on the nose, exceeds expectations on the palate and finish, as this elegant wine is one of the great wines of this vintage. Enjoy this wonderful wine over the next two decades. Drink 2020-2035- 94 — 5 years ago
Buttery, floral (honeysuckle), toasted coconut, and warm apricot on the nose. Ripe apricot, mango, nectarine, beeswax. Hint of butter on the finish. — 6 years ago
2016 vintage tasted in 9/2018. Pale straw yellow. Exquisite aromas of ripe mango and honeysuckle. Off dry, low acidity, medium alcohol. Primary gushing ripe fruit up front with subtle secondary notes possibly due to malolactic fermentation giving it a very rounded mouthfeel. Superb Viognier. — 7 years ago
The best Moscato d' Asti I ever tasted. This wine is so wonderful and delicious. Concentrated ripe red apples. Mango and peach as well on the palette. Sweet with good acidity, balanced with great bubbles makes it perfect in combination with desserts. — 8 years ago
This is a nice summer wine. Sweet so not something I could drink every day but clean and crisp with flavor — 5 years ago
I started drinking this Viognier about 10 years ago and it brings back all the memories! It tastes much sweeter now than it did then (when I drank Moscato on the regular) but it's still pleasant and enjoyable. Lots of peach and honeysuckle on the nose, on the palate more stone fruit, pear, and some tropical fruit like mango and pineapple, low acid and a nice fruity finish that dissipates quickly. It's nostalgic for me and I sure do like taking that trip down memory lane! — 5 years ago
Pale lemon-green with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes. On the palate flavors of melon, mango, apple, green peppers and a touch of boxwood. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit and herbal character. Very good to drink now, no benefit from further bottle aging. Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
mango and pineapple on the nose - yum!

An incredibly balanced chard. This one crushed a 2010 Kistler Kistler Cuvee Cathleen quite easily. This nose is very complex and quite aromatic. Limestone, melon, mango nose. Peach, mango middle. The finish on this wine just goes and goes. I've been lucky enough to have four 2013 Aubert wines all within the last 1-2 years, and this one by far is my favorite (Yes, it beats the Larry Hyde although I'm rating it the same). REALLY close to a 96 IMO. — 7 years ago
Found another '14 bottle, continuing to develop nicely. Bright straw yellow with aromas of fresh fruit, stone fruits and citrus with floral notes. On the palate, complex flavors, full and rich with peach, green apple, mango and vanilla spice. The wine had a soft mineral taste with nutty toasty oak, noting that the wine sat on French oak, (40% new). The finish was smooth with great texture and balance, time in the cellar will add benefit, an outstanding offering from Patz & Hall. — 8 years ago
