Medium ruby to purple in color; cherries, graphite, and grill plums; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry sauce, eucalyptus, a hint of black pepper, and candied cherries with a long finish. Nellie likes it and so do I. — 5 months ago

Really a pretty nice second wine from a great Bordeaux house (Montrose). In general I prefer St Julien to St Estephe but this is very good. Decanted 2 hours which I recommend. Inky in the glass. Some good secondary notes on the nose. Fruit is very there, but more acid to keep it balanced than I expected. Nice with a prime ribeye on the grill. — 2 years ago
Same notes as before, and I still love it. Keep going back to it. So unique.
