Juicy-fruited, this is unabashedly lime- and peach-forward, with floral and mineral accents playing a secondary role. Acidity is refreshing but not life-ruining. Mouthfeel is pleasantly rounded, belying its moderate abv (11.5%) and crisp, dry finish. Not complex, but pure pleasure, balanced and composed; you’d have to be some kind of dipshit not to love this wine. — 5 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast. — 6 years ago
Popped and poured, and brought out to compare to the 2008. Similar color and brightness as the 2008, which is a good sign. Deeper and slightly more complex nose. Notes of citrus, sea breeze, some hazelnuts, some wet stone. In the mouth it has a bit more weight, and kind of an oiliness to it. Taste lingers for a while. Very nice and sad to later discover this was the last of a 6 pack I had - all of which were in good shape. — 6 years ago
Tight but really good — 9 years ago

Phenomenal balance Syrah character dominates, lush perfume and rich dark fruit. Crushed after a 30 min decant, could have used a lil more development time but too delicious to complain about how it was consumed — 5 years ago
Love the aromatics. Great wine. The top of the cork crumbled but the rest of the cork held ok and there was nothing wrong with the wine. Bought it at the winery tasting room in April 2021. — 5 years ago
Great color in the decanter... medium gold with an enticing perfume. Notes of sweet Meyer lemon, apricot, gravel stone, tan clay, some mint, a little ginger and some sweet marzipan. Has an exotic and slightly musty (desirable) funk. Huge weight with great fruit and solid acidity in the mouth. Decanted for 2 hours before drinking. Awesome juice! If you Google “why should I age white burgundy?”, an image of this 35 year old bottle should be shown... — 6 years ago

Nice smooth. Nutmeg. Blackberry, figs. — 9 years ago

Very nice! — 11 years ago
Wet stone, green apple and melon. Zippy and mineral. I want more. — 12 years ago
Crisp and fruity Sauvignon Blanc. Has a lot more power than most SV’s from NZ. Decadent notes of lime, grapefruit and white peach balanced with sharp acidity and saline notes. Delicious. Pair with food for sure. — 4 years ago
Light straw colour with notes of bread, lemon, pear, apricot and white flower on the nose. Lively and ample mousse with a bright acidity. On the palate, lemon, tart green apple, unripe pear, white peach with some chalk and wet stone minerality. Long finish with a lemon zing and brioche. Very enjoyable but still very young and will be awesome in another 5 years! — 5 years ago
A délicate bouquet of fresh lime, ripe peaches with hints of slate. Lots of zing, a forward acid with a spritz at the end! Simply decadent! — 5 years ago
Nose has citrus and an emerging something inorganic that I can’t quite pinpoint (petrol? Rubber? Asphalt?) as I don’t spend much time seeking out those kind of smells. Palate is feather light and tingly, sweet peach and apricot and lime up front followed by a hint of the herbal and savory. Will let the next one rest a while longer — 6 years ago
Prior notes from March 2020 still apply. Most enjoyable and refreshing - mandarin and lime juice notes on the palate. Diminished acid. I hope European Riesling makers continue to use screw caps. Would be difficult to find an Australian Riesling producer who doesn’t use screw caps these days. — 6 years ago
Nice wine. Fruity, just off dry. Would get it again. — 9 years ago
Very nice at this approachable price point. Lovely Orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit citrus notes. Textbook petroleum on the nose let's you know it's a Riesling. Green apple and apricot on the finish mixed with some slate-y-ness. Vibrant acidity, with about 12% abv. — 9 years ago
V13. Sometime you ask "why", v13 answers the question. Nice flinty, sweet stone fruit and soft vanilla nose. Simple, soft, sweet pear, and Meyer lemon fruit. Velvet and mineral finish . Really good. — 9 years ago
Lemon/lime minerality- drinking very well right now med bodied kinda oily great stand alone Chablis — 11 years ago
Just an amazing expression of Terroir, totally naked and brilliantly balanced, including dusty tannins and dito minerality, Syrah spice and a meat stock infused finish. Note to Self - Clos Saron rules! — 12 years ago
