Orvieto Classico - brilliant gold not quite as brilliant as the Neri.
Grechetto 50%, Procanico 40% and drupeggio verdello Malvasia 10%. On the nose, apple, peach and florals. On the palate, peach and heavy minerality. — a year ago
Bright ripe with a tang that reaches the way back sides of your tongue.
Smells of greens and yellows - Smokey green herbs and sliced yellow starfruit.
Has a fleshy, creamy texture sitting under sour tropical fruits - tastes like key lime pie and mango sorbet and candied Limoncello. — 4 years ago

First take: it’s a bit muddled and flabby….lacking crisp structure. It is young so I will test on day two. Day 2.5: impressively, air has brought this one to life! Clarity and articulation are now present. The character profile is still medium+ weighted fresh red/black cherry with a delicate green herby frame. What improved - the focus and clarity of the acidity. It broadened, thus mouthfeel improved. — 3 years ago

Opened nicely after about an hour’s decant. Reserved red and blue fruits, rose, tobacco and earth all balanced in still firm tannins. A fantastic wine worth the patience and likely would have had 5+ good years left in the bottle. — 3 days ago
