A blend of 77% Cab Sauv, 13% Merlot, 7% Syrah, 3% Petite Sirah & 1% Cab Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of rich ripe berry fruits, cedar and earthy herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum, with cacao, tobacco and oaky notes. Nice balance, soft chewy tannins, long finish ending with creamy vanilla spice and cedar character. Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.

Interesting red blend that features the Baga (85%) grape. Blended with Touriga National (15%). Very dark color but lighter in body than I would have expected. Bright and jammy red fruit aromas and flavors with hints of prunes and dark chocolate. Solid acidity and very long finish. Moderate finish and tannins. In a very good place right now. WNH event number 4. Perfect Pizza Pairing bottles. Not a bad bottle in the bunch!

My contribution. I was told that even though this is a Rosé, it drinks like a pinot. Couldn’t agree more. Dark ruby in the glass. Aromatically it was ripe strawberry, sage and vibrant citrus notes. Concentrated, yet light on the palate. Bing cherry, dragon fruit, watermelon finish. Incredible Rosé that should be viewed as a pinot. — 8 years ago

Big, brawny, and more than a bit beefy. Dark purple with a nose of old cigars, bacon grease, and vanilla. Big ol' palate of smoked meat and white pepper. Tons of smoke, along with some dried herbs, and funky dirt. Not a lot of fruit here but you'll discover plums and black cherries eventually. The 15.5% puts out quite a bit of heat. Maybe too much heat. As tasty as this is, I'm not really getting Syrah so much. In the long run that doesn't matter because you should probably drink this. — 9 years ago
