Light garnet color. Very interesting nose and palate of red fruits, rose petals, dried herbs, black tea, bergamot and sweet baking spices. Hint of eucalyptus on the long, complex and earthy finish. Smooth tannins. Lively, bright and very well balanced. Nice concentration for a light bodied wine. Excellent! — 2 years ago
🏅 Rating 94+/100 (4,45⭐)
This is my 3rd and the last bottle over the past year. It definitely sits at its plateau now and fully awake. Difficult to say when the drinking window will close down.
Lots of energy and precision. Cabernet Sauvignon dominant. Perfumed black currant jam with leaves. Complex tertiary aromas make a beautiful bouquet. Balance of tannins, fruits and acidity at its perfection. Tannins have soften but not yet faded away.
Undoubted 2nd Growth quality. — 6 years ago
Even though we brought spilts with us on our trip, I still missed it. There just aren’t many better starters to kickoff a weekend night. Cheers! 🥂
Many previous notes still apply.
The next time you have BSR as an aperitif and your are having red wine after, save some to close out your night. The BSR ascends from 1080p HD to OLED 4K on your palate. For that matter, any quality Champagne will do. — 7 years ago
Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago
Amazing stuff. Awesome balance, biscuit, light fruits, tight bubbles, and sits perfectly on the tongue. — 8 years ago
Pretty red color with medium intensity.
Fresh red berries on the nose with light milk chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, light earth, light wood, spices, coffee, herbs and dark chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This delicious 3 year old Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is starting to drink beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.
Still young, and from the great 2022 vintage. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Rich and fruit forward. Complex with a soft mouthfeel. Soft, pure and elegant.
The high alcohol is very well integrated. Spicy and entertaining. Well structured and precise.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
Grapes are grown on aged vines of more than 100 years old. A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Cinsault and 20% Syrah. Aged in mostly concrete vats for 2 years. Syrah is aged in new French oak barrels.
16% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Classic chenin. Beeswax and non-oak smoke . Zip lining acid that goes really well with shrimp pad Thai but not with double chocolate chip cookies 😂. Green papaya. There is a little bit of ripe tropical fruit but it’s still such a direct wine — 5 years ago
Nose is black cherry, plum, thyme, lavender, black pepper, and a touch of smoke. Pretty complex and inviting.
Palate opens with those black cherry/kirsch notes and then transitions to dried green herbs and medium acidity. Tannins are smooth and lend just enough dryness to keep it balanced. Good length with lingering plum skin.
Great little Rhone red with delicious approachable fruit and some nice spice subtlety. Where others at this price point (€11!) are austere or overly simple, this one delivers on deliciousness and complexity. The overall structure makes it quite drinkable too. — 7 years ago
Delicious, especially with sirloin steak and Billy!

Combes des Grès, still and always the best of Copain’s pinots. — 6 years ago
Sexy fucking wine. Sexy is overused but I’d get in a hastily planned 3 month relationship with this wine that would end in bitter heartbreak. Gorgeous nose. Flowers, big cherries, lipstick vibe. Palate is ripe and opulent with lovely sucrosity and wonderful freshness. Silky tannins and great mouthfeel. Very 15 but also very alluring. Long finish. Wonderful mineral drive and very complex. Great today. — 7 years ago
Can’t get stop going after ‘15 Burgundy. Here, from one of region’s elite and from the fabulous Combe aux Moines vineyard, deeply flavored and beautifully perfumed, ripe black cherries, red raspberry, exotic spices and damp earth. The texture is luxurious and supple and the finish is long and seductive. 🔥 — 7 years ago
