From the younger vines Chaillot, which really, at the right time, can be equally as fabulous as Reynard in its own way, is brilliant tonight at age 10, entering the cusp of early maturity. Showing even better than the 13 Reynard I had just a month back, it captivates with distinctive Allemand aromas and a deep fruited profile, both black and red with olive tapenade, fresh violets and Provençal herbs along with its signature liquid rock minerality. The palate is pure velvet with killer concentration, caressing with each sip before giving way to lengthy, vibrant and mineral inflicted finish with silky smooth tannins. Damn I love these wines and 2012 Chaillot was particularly delicious tonight. 🙌🏻 — 6 months ago
Great Carbernet Sauvignon blend! Smooth and full bodied wine with fruity flavor with a delicate end tanning taste. — 3 months ago
Pop and pour. Sublime for bourgogne blanc. The reduction has blown off, and this is pure lime, citrus blossom, a touch of vanilla and a hint of almond/hazelnut. On the palate: fantastic acidity, weight and density. More citrus and stone and just caresses the palate. So elegant. At peak, imo. — 6 months ago
Château d’Yquem Sauternes 2005: Pure elegance! Liquid gold! Absolutely stunning! Sweet & well balanced. Golden orange in color. Intense honey, orange & peach aromas. Honey, apricot, peach, tangerine, almond & caramel flavors. Incredibly long & fulfilling finish. This was my first time drinking this premier Bordeaux wine; it was like no other I’ve ever tasted and wow what a memorable experience. Absolutely wonderful. It was bold, structured and ultra elegant. Best Sauternes vintage? Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 8 months ago
1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A sublime medium magenta color. On the nose: very aromatic nose of plum, funky earth, cassis, pencil lead, sweet tobacco, mint, worn leather. Taste: open and accessible, vibrant, smooth wine with red plum, cigar box, crushed stone, spice, cassis, cedar, smoked meat. YUM! Just pure class, what more can you say except even with my accolades not nearly good enough to be worth +$900/btl...paid less then $170 15 yrs ago. — 2 months ago

Wow, just wow! En magnum, stunning wine. Pure and light on the palate with power and weight on the finish, one of the very best I have had, thanks PK for sharing. — a month ago
