Very fun and bright! Great for sport celebrations or for treating yourself. Burt orange taste in the length with tastes of strawberry and peach. Has a pleasant dryness that lasts. — 8 years ago
I ordered a case of this juice recently. We visited Steve Reynolds (and their cat, named Burt....get it?!) a number of years back - and were on a huge kick there for a while. Lovely property and tasting there. I love this wine, and the name. Some great things, like a beautiful wine, take a lot of time, hard work, and star-alignment to come together. I say if you have a dream, a goal, go all in, work your butt off to make it happen, and don't let anyone tell you you can't! Anything is possible, if you have persistence. And oftentimes it's all a lot easier than you might imagine, if you calm your fears and have the confidence to go for it. PS like my pink hydrangeas?! They were blue when I planted them - who knew?! #persistence #pink — 8 years ago

Sad that this delicious wine will be Burt Williams' last... 2009 Morning Dew Ranch, Jan's Cuvée Pinot Noir — 11 years ago
Williams Selyem Winery began as a simple dream of 2 friends, Ed Selyem & Burt Williams, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, California, and made their first commercial vintage in 1981. Rich nose with complex fruit, spice and floral scents. Juicy red fruit flavors, great mouthfeel, slight oak notes. Lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
The cooked down blueberry tones! This wine feels like midnight by the fire, naked and all wrapped in fur with 1973 Burt Reynolds.
@Jeff Savigny This was an excellent Cab! — 8 years ago
So good. Nice full flavor and finish — 9 years ago
Light brick red. Molasses on nose some volatile acidity. Not oxidized but Burt marshmallow. Mouth has violets medium to long finish still plenty of life left. More time open. Mouth has turned cocoa more plum black fruit on nose. Certainly develops with air. — 9 years ago
Even Burt Reynolds has been caught sipping on this summer nectar. Sweet enough to complement a grilled northern pike; dry enough to tickle the taste buds on your chest hairs. — 9 years ago
Loved the dark fruit and almost a Burt sugar...Loved it with our bistros burger. — 9 years ago
Burt sugar in a pine forest on the nose with sweet plum tomato, anise, and cherry lollipop notes make for a delightfully sweet and velvety mellow body. The opposite of a dry finish burns a little with some the nightshade. — 10 years ago
A gift from Bob's own cellar, my first WS that Burt Williams made himself. Spectacular! And wine the way it was, 13.2% alcohol — 10 years ago

Classic Margaret River at a great price. Tropical and light herbaceous flavours. Elegant in its early life, well balanced and terrific drinking. Bottled not long ago so it's super fresh. — 9 years ago
