My type of wine, herby soft and velvety — 6 years ago
I haven’t had many bourbons, but this is a favorite so far. It has a lighter nose reminiscent of an Irish whiskey with some floral and vanilla notes. It is smooth from start to finish, and has that classic robust oak and smoke flavor you want in a bourbon. — 6 years ago
Dark ruby and hints of violet colour that set the scene for a very pleasant young wine. Dark fruit and leather aroma with a rounded plum, cherry and a little chocolate taste, with medium tannin.
A real pleasure and went very well with gammon glazed with honey. — 3 years ago
Picked up a split of this because all my .375 empties got accidentally thrown out (I use them to store unfinished bottles in the fridge). So I was mostly after the bottle itself but what’s inside happens to be superb—lime, apple and floral notes with fine but not hard edged limestone mineral character, softened perhaps by the clay component of the terroir. I Sancerre-ly enjoyed it! — 4 years ago
Wonderful layers of flavor soft on the mouth! — 6 years ago
Sweetness is lush yet in check. Mirabelle plum torte, tangerine, honey, white flowers, blueberry dessert at Piccolo, highly viscous but doesn't overstay it's welcome in the mouth — 6 years ago
Very smooth, full of flavors — 7 years ago
Light, dry, dusty, bit of minerals, bitter cherry, good mouthfeel for a light wine. Solid. — 3 years ago
Very good but not my favorite of the single vineyards. Has notes of lavender or something else that’s interesting but not as appealing. — 4 years ago
Henry does it again with a lovely blend of different grapes. The shiraz is up front, so the pepper is there, it's dry, but not too dry.
Great price point at the LCBO, after the first trial bottle we raced back to get the rest from the shelf... sorry! — 5 years ago
Smooth and balanced. Full fruit. 2016 — 6 years ago
One of my favorite wines ❤️❤️ — 6 years ago
I’ve been drinking this fairly regularly since my local Costco started stocking this vintage. Every bottle I open is getting better, more floral. Lots of flowers and honeysuckle going in the direction of lychee. There’s also a lot of mixed citrus flavors, with grapefruit coming out. It all rides on a background of oak and a little vanilla, and almost cardamom. There’s a little gravel and maybe limestone minerality with balanced acidity. Very nice wine that holds up to Asian food. — 6 years ago
