Acidic. Long finish. — 21 days ago
Upon decanting for 30 minutes the nose is full of ripe cherry, tobacco & a bit of mint.
On the palate the nose is verified with good structure and soft tannin. it is medium bodied, delightful wine that is fully mature and has a long full finish. Drink it now. It is a lovely classic barolo. — 3 months ago
I fear I opened this far too soon. A couple hours of decanting has helped it open up. Going to let my other bottle hang out on the rack for a few more years. — 13 minutes ago
Old school showing restraint and tradition. However, the fruit is a bit muted cherry and takes a backseat to earthy tones of forest floor, leather, and dried herbs. Tannins are firm yet balanced, and the finish carries a touch of tar and rose.
A solid entry level Barolo. — 22 days ago
Strong and consistent tannins merry my favorite grapes that came from a mountain! Can you believe it? — 2 months ago

mostly Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Spice, dried fruit, attractive and polished. Under $20? No brainer. — 3 months ago

Another brilliant Canonica. Not a hint of alcohol and a sustaining sweetness way past finish. Wish I could have had more. — 6 days ago
