Gramolere Barolo Nebbiolo 2017

Love Alessendria’s Barolos. Totally ready to drink but will keep for another 15 to 20 years. Cherries, Currants and licorice. Very soft tannins with typical Nebbiolo bite at the back palate. — 15 days ago

Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva Barolo Nebbiolo 1989

Intense. Tar and plum and tangy thyme and rosemary. A whiff of band aid. Gorgeous texture and the fruit on the midpalate is exceptional. Long in the finish. Crazy good. — a month ago

Nebbiolo d'Alba 2021

Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. Nice! — 25 days ago

Every time I have this wine it gets better and better. Had this after a scarecrow 2003 and this was way more interesting! — a month ago

Monvigliero Barolo Nebbiolo 2013

Incredibly smooth and highly perfumed modern barolo. Drinks beautifully now, the Nebbiolo character comes true in the after burn. Will be interesting how this develops over the next 10 years. Incredibly fine tannins. — a month ago

super high quality Dolcetto. one of my fav producers in Piemonte despite some fall off in Barolo quality over the years. — a month ago

Barolo Nebbiolo 2013

Generally like this producer but this is my second bottle of the 2013 and both have been somewhat disappointing. Lighter in the glass, but even with a long decant the tannins are pretty dusty. Just doesn’t quite come together. — 2 months ago
