Interesting Rioja blend of Graciano (90%) and Tempranillo (10%). Dark ruby core with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of red cherries, rose petals, leather, mint and dusty earth. Ripe red and black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of dried herbs (dill), dark chocolate, black olives, coffee and minerals. Touch of vanilla on the bold and lingering finish. Fresh acidity, firm tannins and nicely balanced. Smooth texture, complex and beautifully aged. — a year ago
