Light tannic wine with a sharp cherry finish. Nice pairing with our handmade pasta dishes. Delighted to run into a fellow Nebraskan in the restaurant. — 7 years ago
At an old school mate and fellow Pinot nut up at Maroochydore. Never had an aged Ata Rangi before and it was marvellous. Thanks John! Always one of the best Pinots in New Zealand, at 10 years it has dropped a lot of the aromatic red fruits of its youth and become much more Burgundian with savoury earthy mushroom and compost heap nuances. A beautiful wine. — 7 years ago

This was the wine of the tasting and weekend. It’s in a perfect place right now. Beautifully integrated, amazing fruits with a lean toward blue fruit with dark cherries, baking spices as they should be in all Napa red...soft, balanced blends and perfectly layered. Bright, beautiful dark florals, nicely balanced, great texture and long beautiful finish. Great experience hosted by my fellow Sommelier and friend, Brian Baker. Thank you for a great day tasting. As well, great to catch up. Lokoya’s new facility is amazing. Pictures don’t do it justice. — 8 years ago
My best bargain find of 2017 so far!
I'm told French people don't like spending over €15 on bubbles & this €16 bottle was given to us by a fellow wine friend in Paris & I have to say in retirement it will do me 👍
🍇 60% Chard & 40% PInot Noir
🍷 Straw yellow
👃 Citrus infused shortbread sugar biscuit & fresh cut cooking apples w/ a whiff of toasted brioche
👄 Fine bubbled med body mousse of lemon curd under sweet & sour green light caramel toffee apple

Leather and earth. Medium body. To quote a fellow wine dude it drinks like a feral Beaujolais — 5 years ago
NV. Rich and brioche-y. Fig, poached pear, baked yellow apple, brioche, lemon zest. Moderately autolytic. Drink 'em up. Special toast to fellow retailers and other support folk during these strange times! Salud! — 6 years ago
Scent of blackberries and very oaky, deep red color, full bodied and fruity, smooth with lasting finish. Long fellow never disappoints. — 7 years ago
Another fabulous Chanin wine 😍
This PN was a lovely warm up to the crazy 🇦🇺 filet steak @ Cut 45 Park Lane, Mayfair
Didn’t take notes as Mrs Es birthday but it was very aromatic, full of balanced fruits with a lovely smooth long finish 👍
Just love their labels 👏
Bit overpriced @ £150 in restaurant but worth it 😁 I’ll try & hunt now to review properly 😎
Happy Sunday fellow wine lovers 😘 — 8 years ago

Well my fellow Winericans First a very happy and healthy 4th and whatever your politics God bless those who keep us safe and free.
I thought on this special occasion to open my favorite wine. Love everything about it. Smooth, tasty, and thoughtful. — 9 years ago
Silky smooth, carries its ample flesh with tremendous elegance, lots of red fruits and spice. The warmth of the sun is evident in this wine, but it is masterfully directed in a graceful Aikido or Judo-like style that directs that sunny ripeness in way that comes off as attractive and charming instead of ripe or heavy, very inspirational and instructive for a fellow sunny climate winemaker. — 10 years ago

It is Thursday night the eve before the start of another weekend. I have opened the 2018 Patricia Green Cellar Durant Vineyard Madrone Block Pinot Noir. This is a beautifully balanced pinot noir from the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley of Oregon.
The nose brings out notes of cherry, raspberry, floral notes, sassafras, vanilla, cola, clove and baking spices.
Onnthe palate there is cherry, raspberry, cranberry, spice, vanilla, herbs, hibiscus and forest floor.
This wine is a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir that is beautifully well balanced and is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that lead into a medium to long red fruit finish. Here we are on the eve before the start of another weekend and we need to look within to see how we want to proceed in life? Do we want to try and make something out of our life and do right with our fellow man or proceed with the status quo and not make a mark on this world.i hope we all want to make a difference and try and lift one another up. Let try and support one another and see above the hate and discontent. Please be kind to one another and be healthy and safe so we can all make this a better place. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 6 years ago
Calling this fellow Bruno bc he is the sweetest Brut I’ve ever met. Only in Portugal! — 7 years ago
A delicious swap with a fellow winery from Walla Walla Washington State - I traded a local wine for this amazing 2005 red Bordeaux blend wine.
This wine was kept well, and had just the perfect amount of age and fruit, with aromas and flavors of leather and black dried fruit.
My rating: If you can track down another bottle, I would buy it. As it is, their latest vintages are also quite tasty, too. — 8 years ago
I empathize with fellow drinkers who appreciate this but don't give it impressive reviews but the reality is that this wine is incredible and has to be embraced for what it is. Unbelievably balanced for the blend of varieties. — 9 years ago
To quote my two friends @Martin G Rivard and @Mike Rowe this is a bad ass wine eliciting smiles all around (and a great way to start 2017). Parker gave this a perfect score and it is a beauty. Decanting is a must at this point. It's been opening up over the last 4 hours and think it will continue to improve if I can sip more slowly lol. Slightly cloudy, and a bright purple in the glass. On the nose, cassis, vanilla and toast dominate. The sips are long and driven by fruit (blue and blackberries and cassis). Liquid silk in the mouth with sweet tannins and a surprisingly strong acidity. The finish is long. This is a total baby but I had to try it. Happy New Year to all my Delectable friends and especially to my fellow Wine Nerd Herd. I've always believed that sharing wine with friends is the greatest gift and this app has enabled me to do that with friends near and far and connect with some great people. May 2017 be a year of great health and happiness and may all our glasses be full! — 9 years ago
