To me this wine drinks like a fine CDP or more aristocratic Rhone Valley selection with more fruit up front.
On the backside the "Jami-ness " gives way to a more balanced old world style.

I could not tell if the nose had more plum than blackberry or vice versa. But I can say blueberries won out on the palate. There was some dirty rock as well and a touch of spice that lingered for a while. Overall average to me. It did have some nice touches, may have better with food. — 11 years ago
