Old school Willamette Pinot that doesn’t try too hard and is better for it. Mixed berry pie on the nose which is comforting and inviting. Beautifully balanced palate, ripe raspberries with a hint of both sweet spice and forest floor, no element too showy, and a velvety smooth medium-long finish. — 3 years ago

No fruit here! Just plenty of earth. Slightly skunky on the nose in the best way. 2 more in the cellar ... can’t wait to see where they go! — 4 years ago

Black cherry, raspberry, wet earth and mushrooms, with chestnut, pecan and plum. Tart cherry and ripe red cherry meet dried black cherry, lavender, and rose petal, sweet cranberry, dried raspberry, smoke and cola. Generous Pinot from older vines, that exhibits structure and integrity. Iconic.

Lots of red fruit — raspberry, dark cherry — plus blackberry underneath. Vanilla and cola notes, along with some forest floor earthiness. Easy to drink 7 years in. More fruit forward than other vintages I’ve had. Quite good. — 6 months ago
The Eyrie Vineyards, Pinot Gris, from the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Vintage 2017. ABV 12.5%.
Bright citrus and tart melon and cantaloupe notes with some salinity and wet stone influences. Very refreshing and youthful.
Easy to pair with food, we have paired it with roasted bok choy, aubergine, and brown jasmine rice. It goes nicely and doesn’t compete with the tamari and sesame flavors. — 3 years ago
This is hands down my favorite rose to current. It is smooth, clean and fruity, not not overly sweet. A perfect balance and wonderful chilled or room temperature. — 4 years ago

Giving this another big score. 3 hr decant and this is bringing a nose of darker fruits. Wine is brooding and big without any forest floor going on. Acidity and tannin round out great weight and tautness. Drank alongside chicken parm. Delish — 5 months ago
