Double decant and pour for sediment(lots of sediment). Still a dark garnet with little bricking. On the nose: such captivating expressive notes of perfumed stewed dark fruit, herbaceous, boiled meat, minty menthol, worn leather, tobacco leaf. Taste: Wow! in a beautiful spot right now....creamy, savory, silky wine with dried red fruit, earth, dark chocolate, graphite, dried herbs, old leather, and a beautiful lingering finish. YUM!!! This one in still available for around €70 in Sweden, so I was intrigued to try the WOTY. Full bodied with ripe dark fruits, plenty of baking spices, currants, cedar wood. I prefer this over The Mascot from Harlan, the quality of the fruit comes across a bit superior here. Very well made. — 3 years ago
