Popped and poured; enjoyed over two days. Best on Day 2 after it brightened up. The 2008 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of blackberry compote, coffee, Werther’s Chocolate, tobacco leaf, leather, teriyaki, demi-glace, and dry earth. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes on the nose. The finish is long and slightly savory. This is delicious and has to be one of the great values in Ribera del Duero. Drink now through 2032+. — 4 days ago
Fruity yet not too sweet — 6 days ago
The 2023 Kerner is delicately floral in the glass. Sweet spice and candied lime open in the bouquet. Vibrant acidity, saline minerals and tart citrus add a zesty character throughout. The 2023 reverberates with tension through a long, cheek-puckering finale laced with chamomile and lemon zest. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2024) — 14 days ago
Smell: smells pretty acidic, strong tones of lemon and such.
Taste: tastes super good, perfect balance of sweet and acidic — 15 days ago
Crazy weekend and another crazy wine. Didnt see this coming. I always imagined this wine tasting completely different...massive and concentrated. In truth it was insanely smooth and silky...balanced and rounded. Nothing massively showy or crazy...just perfect refinement. An amazing experience — 5 days ago

If it’s on the list and the price is right an automatic buy. Wonderful combo of stone fruit and citrus connected by zippy acidity. A wine that always does a Slow Foxtrot in my mouth. Will certainly gain complexity with time. — 11 days ago
