Opened this for the wifey’s birthday. Sadly, it underperformed. Too much volatile acidity for our liking but it was still decent - very red-fruited and some lifted florals on the nose. The palate had quite a bit of grip for a Pinot, some darker fruits and a touch of game, plus some underlying minerality. Totally flat the day after, which shouldn’t be the case for a Burg this young. Alas, such is the risk of a high mileage bottle (France to Japan to Singapore to East Malaysia). — 4 months ago
This held up quite nicely—took a risk and it paid off! — 5 months ago

This showed well, but not as concentrated as the 2009 Lafarge. — a year ago
