Le Parc at Les Crayeres in Reims. Light canary gold. Young and bright in the glass. Great Coche nose. Penetrating power. Notes of lemon, crushed rocks, petrol. In the mouth it’s rich but lacking the acidity and intensity I was expecting. Even after 3 hours of air, the structure was modest. It made this an easy to drink wine tonight, but with no acidity backbone this seems questionable for long term aging. Maybe just in a dumb phase but the Cochey nose was memorable.

Smokey, wood starting to get integrated. Crushed stones, chalky, high minerality. What a privilege to be able to drink this. Prices still kind of reasonable.
