Strawberry, raspberry aromas.
Light red color. Fruity, Jammy raspberry and cola flavors w/ nicely balanced acidity. Not oaky.
Good overall.

Lovely Aussie Cab. Not too big and overbearing. Ripe red currant, eucalyptus and smoke. — 3 years ago
Licorice, raspberries, stewed cherries, cloves, a bit of anise, mint, and eucalyptus
Very tasty now, but might not last for too long — 8 years ago

A little jammy - needs air and time — 8 months ago
Deepest of Ruby color. Amazing nose with a hint of cinnamon. I’m a big fan of Malbec but the petit Verdot really balances this wine out. Great legs and deep color make a visually appealing drink. Tons of fruit and mild tannins to balance the fruit out. Drinking this wine on Christmas Eve and I feel a little guilty like I opened a present early. Trefethen never disappoints. — 2 years ago
1hr plus decant. Dark red color. Cassis and dark fruit on the palate. Very sweet, like candy in a glass. Huge depth. Different style than most Napa Cabs but who doesn’t like candy! — 4 years ago
Dark garnet colored with a slight brick colored meniscus on the edges. Dark fruit, cedar, black olives and leather on the nose. Bold tastes of black plums, figs, cherry cola, and licorice wrapped in silky tannins and perfect acidity. A great finish. Kudos to my friend Steve Reynolds for making such an unbelievably great wine. This wine is not showing any signs of letting up. A true heavyweight Cabernet at a great price. — 6 years ago
Not sure why this is rated relatively low, as the 2014 vintage was exceptional (and ranked in the top 50 of Wine Spectator’s Best of 2016 list). Big aromas of cigar box and hard candy, mouth-watering tastes of strawberry jam, cedar and caramel... and most astonishingly, it retails for $15. Get some - now! — 8 years ago
2004 tasting great. Black currant with soft tones of mineral/earth/wet stone. — 9 years ago
Refreshing summer/picnic sparkling. Good bubble structure and light on the pallet — 9 years ago

Whenever I'm looking for my California Cabernet fruit basket. Love this stuff. — 13 years ago
The petrol note is pronounced, yet beautifully integrated. Citrus and tropical tones emerge on the nose, joined by a faint wisp of smoke. The palate has Viognier-like texture, lending weight and shape, while bright, clean-cut acidity is balanced by just a touch of residual sweetness.
It’s puzzling that Napa Valley can produce Riesling of this caliber! — 8 months ago
Very nice & drinkable, light bodied, fruity & oaky, sweet beginning and nice tart end but not high acid. Can’t get enough of this gentle wine. — 9 months ago
Paired with nothing. Madeira is the desert. — 3 years ago
If the wife likes it it inflates the score. #Naturally — 5 years ago
Extremely Nice… in all aspects — 5 years ago
Dark Ruby. Lovely aromatics, violets, roses, flower garden that blossomed into a nice layered flavor trove of chocolate dipped cherry and toasted cinnamon stick. Perfect compliment to a NY Strip. — 8 years ago

Could use some more aging. More spice and more bold. Not as good as the 2010 — 12 years ago
A delicious Cabernet off of Spring Mountain. Dense cherry and sweet vanilla are framed in French Oak with a supple lingering finish. You won't find this on at Binney's. — 14 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with splashes of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec all SLD estate fruit, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and currants with tobacco and herb spice. Fine smooth tannins, approachable, long finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and herb mineral character. Nice! — 7 months ago
