Yellow with aromas of dandelion, pear, steely minerality, and candied apple. Nice acidity, long finish, and luscious. Flavors of candied apple and grassy notes. Wonderful! — 4 months ago

Pear, apple, green apple, nutty, some silkiness. Minimal tropical notes, however. — 7 months ago
Catch up from a wine dinner last month. Weighty! Viscous. A big mouthful of chardonnay for sure. — a day ago
Great wine. Will improve but not a bad time to open. Aromatics started with a distinctive smoky or reductive note that I couldn’t quite place but dissipated and morphed. Good structure. — 3 months ago
High in pyrazine. Grassy. Grapefruit. More New Zealand style than french. — 4 months ago

2012 vintage. Opened, not decanted. Nice fill and ridiculously, picture perfect cork. Tasted 40 minutes after opening. Medium body. Domestically reminiscent of Calera Jensen Vineyard pinot noir. So. Much. Chalk. And. Limestone. Barely restrained power. This will outlive me. Hopefully, not you. One bottle left. 1.23.26. — 6 months ago

Catch up from a wine dinner last month. Another rare treat on an evening of many new experiences. So muscular. Still very young, waiting to uncoil, but delicious nevertheless. — 6 hours ago
