Bright pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and flinty floral notes, from a small production. On the palate flavors of crisp apple, pear and ripe citrus with notes of white flowers and nutty flinty spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus, biscuits and mineral spice. Nice! Still young! Give it some time in the bottle! — 18 hours ago
Nice viscosity. Green apple, lime zest, lemon, kiwi, some light tropical syrup, caramel & butterscotch, honeysuckle, saline, sea fossils, volcanics limestone powder, fine chalk, white spice, light nuttiness, some wood notes, spring flowers, lilies, excellent, round acidity, well balanced, keenly structured, elegant & polished finish that lasts 90 seconds and lands on spice & minerality. — a month ago
Well if you live in San Diego. The only ‚real’ place to get your Burgh fix in San Diego is at the Meritage Wine Market in Encinitas. They know because they will try these. This bottle was not priced yet they asked me to sample it. Super elegant and perfectly balanced. Young, very coiled. The power is there but hiding. Yuzu, pear, hint herabceous, jasmine, chalk. Will be >100$ for sure. This producer just knocks it out of the park for both the whites and reds. — a month ago
A great blend of five grapes. Enjoyed with grilled chicken thighs and oven roasted mushrooms. Combo of berries and a hint of pepper. Smooth and stately finish. — a month ago
