I will but every bottle of Bize I am offered. Chisa has such a beautiful touch of finesse and ethereal character in her wines. — 6 months ago
Decent Burgundy, light floral and cherry on the nose, smooth and crisp fruit forward taste with a light finish. Fairly affordable for a premier cru; 2019 vintage is perfect, let breath for 30 minutes. — 10 months ago
This was a surprise. The body was lighter than I expected, the nose practically busting with forest floor and dusty ripe red fruits, dusty tannins, but for this meal it paired perfectly. Drank at Arnaud’s in New Orleans. #pinotforpresident — 4 years ago
In a perfect place. Always love Bize and with some nice age this is great. Excellent pick from the somm at Daniel. Beautifully aromatic with wonderful fruit. Just a slight hint of tannin, but still good lifting acid on the finish. Great pairing with both a skin-on black bass as well as a nice strip loin. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Nose: the most beautiful smoke. Cherries. A gorgeous herbal aspect. Cherry flowers. More savory as it opens. So precise it’s utterly penetrating.
Palate: so bright and fresh and clean. The purest cherry juice. A mineral cherry stream. Changes every 15 minutes. Elegant licorice. Cherry silk. Wow.

Big, brambly nose with lots of red cherries, mid season sour cherries, earth and mineral. Really clean and evocative. Palate is juicy and so precise. Very clean and a lovely mineral/fruit wash on the finish. Great depth, freshness and terrific concentration. Not elegant but this wine never is. It has such impact for little $$. Nice, ripe tannins and serious structure. This is always best at 5 years old. — 7 months ago
Berries and tobacco, opens up with time — 8 months ago
Notes of plum, earth, soy sauce. I thought tannins were still fairly pronounced but not rough. Lovely pairing with our smoked abalone and black cod….. — 3 years ago
Cved 3/14/25 opened 3d later. A more robust but still floral berry scented and long finish — 8 months ago
This actually improved. I was not that happy with this producer but this last bottle is pretty good. Cherry, dust, chalk, bark. Quite earthy. Very nice cherry. Hint Tumeric. — 10 months ago
Pinotman /// Andreas
Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — 5 months ago
