Love this 1er Cru and these 2022’s are really coming into their own these last 2 months after being a bit hurly burly. Nose is deep cherry, wild mint, gorgeous florals and minerals but overall an impression of thoroughly ripe fruit. Palate is so juicy and sleek. Huge fruit. So deep and the vivid red cherry fruit soaks into the palate like a crash of waves. The white caps being the ripe and sweet tannins. Such a killer vintage for Laurent. This has the guts for 10-15 years of aging. So juicy. Can’t wait to see how air hits this. Watch this space. — 4 months ago

Less delightful than last bottle. Came out quite dark yellow relative expectations and oxidated.

Pairing confused the tasting but couldn’t help get some serious acidity and tartness. Some apple notes and not the bright lemon sunshine. This was limey. — 4 years ago
