25%, Cab, 25% Syrah, 25% Petit Verdot and 25% Touriga Nacional - this blend is most exquisite with notes of raspberries, sherry and wet oak. On the palette, rich flavors of black pepper, black fruits and pistachios. Full flavor, medium tannins and a lingering finish. Let this one breathe a bit prior to drinking. Cheers!! — 2 months ago
Great structure, luscious, blueberry, dried fruit, spicy — 5 months ago
Visiting Lisbon for the first time and asked for a distinctly local wine, and this is what the gentleman suggested. Lovely, crisp and clean, like a Chardonnay, without the oak. Green apple, lemon, and happiness! So glad we had a chance to try a taste of beautiful Portugal! — 8 months ago

Actually a blend of Cab Sauv, Castelão, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. This wine is a very dark purple, almost inky. The nose is also dark, showing blackberry notes alongside savory tobacco, spice and earth, all in a very smokey framework. The palate of this interesting blend is nearly stunning. Tannins have a good grip, but the blue fruit flavors are amazing and the acidity leaves the sipper salivating. It seems bizarre to me that this wine cost less than $10. It drinks like it should cost much more.
