Wow. Amazingly wonderful- still - at 17 years young. Tannins and fruits still doing their jobs in harmony. An excellent example of this varietal -done by this legendary producer. — 3 years ago
Love Carlisle and this is a great wine with a very floral nose of blackberry and pepper. Lush and long finish, well done Mike! — 12 days ago
It took about an hour for this to come around. Primary with little nuance yet I thought the balance was spot on. — 2 months ago
This showed so well last night! — 5 days ago
Dark berries are present to the nose. Hints of leather and tobacco and the spice was really brought out with some baby back ribs. Had this last about a year and a half ago and it’s still living up to the first time I tasted it. — 2 months ago

Might be a smidgen past its prime. However, still drank pretty decently. This may be my first wine to include the grape Palomino. I always thought it was a horse. Carlisle known for its Zins primarily put together a really interesting blend. Glad I tried it. — 5 days ago
