Second time having this, but a different vintage. Full bodied. The colour is purple... electric. Very big. Needs some time to mellow out. — 6 years ago
At first, this wine seemed slightly over the hill. Not sure if it was pairing with food, some aeration or the alcohol (in my head) that let this wine blossom in the glass. This wine sings after 30 minutes. Somewhat soft and round with lots of structure and backbone making a for a great balanced wine. — 7 years ago

Some fruit and still a lot of tannins. — 4 years ago
Antinori Wine Dinner. A unique dessert pairing. Ricotta flan w/gorgonzola fondue, and...a Merlot? This worked surprisingly well...more like a cheese and Bordeaux mashup. This vintage was more problematic and the wine was a bit harsher than ‘15 or ‘16. — 5 years ago

continuing in the vein of unusual Italian wines, we thoroughly enjoyed this 10 yr old Teroldego from Tuscany of all places: pouring a deep rich ruby, partially opaque with copious quantities of red fruit on the nose, some dark berried fruit as well, licorice, dirt & soil, peppery goodness some dried herbs and so on. complex and engaging, med bodied on palate, more fruit & spice, fleshy mild tannins and smooth finish - other than color, not showing its age. — 6 months ago
At Ferraro’s Ristaurante in Vegas. Very bright. Good acid. Age worthy. — 3 years ago

Dry but not oaky (fermented in steel). Matched with Bianca pizza from pizza Solario. — 6 years ago
I really enjoyed this!
Dark, thick wine where you can really taste the Syrah and tannins. Spicy and full of fruit. Paired very nice with prosciutto wrapped chicken. Definitely young with many years left in it! Not bad at the restaurant list price of £50. — 6 years ago

Fairly well balanced, light for a Tuscan but sufficiently flavorful. Better on the 2nd and 3rd nights if well capped. Simple evening dinner-wine with a comfortable 13% alc. Definitely a good value from TJ. — 5 months ago
