- 38% Viognier 32% Grenache Blanc 22% Marsanne 8% Roussanne. Nose has wet hay, marzipan, fresh and fermented pear, wet limestone. Fairly intense but lovely and balanced in the mouth. A bit of unripe pear fruit, grapefruit zest, loads of stony minerality taking over as the finish progresses, with a nice bitter prickle at the end. Very nice acids. I like this a lot. — 5 months ago

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Strong and fruity nose with ripe black fruits and chocolate notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing cooked cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, light cedar, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco and chocolates.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a delicious Merlot from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Soft, elegant, and very impressive.

Rich, complex and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.

This 6 year old Merlot will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Drinking it with the wine maker in the winery's cellar is always a special experience.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

This rosé is everywhere in Switzerland. I think it’s the 4th time I’ve had it. Got this bottle at the train station lol. Very concentrated. Strong acidity, strawberry and orange. Mouth watering finish with a touch of lavender and Provençal herbs. I can see why they like it so much here. Screams European summer (or après-ski on a sunny afternoon). (It’s evening). Bright straw yellow. Pronounced nose. Blossom, peach, sweet yeastiness, gentle nuttiness, golden apples and pears, spicy chicken skin soup, sweet baking spices (vanilla, cinnamon). Deep and intense but round and broad, not piercing.
Dry, high acid, high alcohol, full, rounded body, hint of spritz, very saline, nice long finish. A bit austere. Couldn’t quite cope with brilllat savarin but great with the others.
