Smooth, light oak up front, crisp finish — 2 months ago
A great Pinot noir with a little cat on the label. I think she’s a little fussy without food and at a high price point, but overall super enjoyable. I also don’t know how you rate anything on here below a 7. Most wine is just good ok??! — 15 days ago
Medium deep garnet, ruby core with medium light garnet rim . This is quite meaty and deep on the nose , with earthy dark cherry , porcini , sweet blackberry and spiced sous bois . On the palate this is quite severe and serious , darker fruits , ripe blackberry , cherry and hint of blackcurrant, herbal hints. Quite gritty , slightly drying tannins , fresh acidity . Earthy , dusty dark cherry edged finish , ok medium length. Quite ambitious for a village and arguably not ready yet , tannins need a little more time to integrate. From now and over the next 5 years, if not longer . — 2 months ago

At Mirabelle with neighbors. W and I liked a lot. Well balanced, long &complex, some tart but not too much. Says spice notes, W agreed. She compared with Cali Wente, much different. — 2 months ago
Classic Pinot with strawberries and cherry aromas. Medium tannins and medium acidity. A good value even on a restaurant menu. Nice with food. Will get again. — 3 months ago

My first Clendenen Family Vineyards bottling.
It opens with apricot, baked apple, pear, and jasmine, unfolding into light vanilla, lemon curd, grapefruit zest, and just the slightest hint of Sherry. On the palate it’s warm and plush with lively acidity. Compared to ABC typically more mineral-edged style, this bottling feels more opulent, with greater emphasis on texture, offering a fuller expression while still carrying Jim Clendenen’s hallmark balance.
