Beau Constantia

Beau Vigne

Juliet Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Drank without decanting. Light on the nose and a smooth sweet taste on the tongue. Fruit flavors and not intense at all. Great wine and well named! Day 2: sweet fruity smell with more of an alcohol scent. As I taste it, I still taste fruit but it is a bit more acidic. Still good overall but not the same as day 1. — 3 days ago

Liqourice, dark cherries, plum. Not subtle at all, a mouthful. Great with barbecued meats! — 5 months ago

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot

Saint-Émilion 1er Grand Cru Classé Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Had this 2019 gifted to me. Had it with a charcoal grilled tri-tip and it went perfectly. Rich, velvety with concentrated blackberry. Nicely structured, big but not heavy in any way. — 9 days ago

Beau Vigne

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Beau Vigne Heirloom Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley. Multi-vintage blend: 2019 / 2021 / 2022

A beautifully composed Cabernet that blends elegance with character. On the nose, it’s aromatic, perfumed, and charming, offering inviting black fruit, hints of toasted oak, and subtle floral tones. The palate is balanced and expressive, with a rounded tannin structure, bright acidity, and just the right touch of fruit-forward richness without being overpowering.

The long, smooth finish ties it all together, showcasing Beau Vigne’s signature style—refined, polished, and deeply satisfying.

Klein Constantia

Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2019

Great now and will age beautifully. Typical Muscat florals, but I love the balancing act of sugar concentration and acidity in this vintage. Elderflower and bruised stone fruit. Wonderfully fresh. 👌🏼 — 2 months ago

Klein Constantia

Estate Red Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2013

We are staying in South Africa. Can you believe some of the oldest operating wineries are right there. Like Klein Constantia, founded in 1685. Yep, they made wine requested by Napoleon, praised by Dickens and Jane Austin so it says on the label. Unique, beautiful little spot right next to Cape Town where they grow the grapes and produce the wines. Want to experience a few more captivating wineries that produce exceptional wines in South Africa? Go to our website or YouTube channel for Spoken Wines. One of the outstanding wineries produces mesmerizing Bordeaux blends in ancient soils in the land called Paarl. Their roots go back to Napa and Opus One. Enjoy!
