Really lovely Lirac, Grenache and Syrah show mostly, the proprietor (Rodolphe des Pins) (in my opinion!!) dragged his feet too long in joining the Lirac appellation, but his wines have LONG been undervalued and are fantastic at their pricepoint, I personally have more bottles of this, which I expect to age well!! — 6 months ago

All the right things. Cherry. Cassis. Blackberry. Balanced warm vanilla cherry crumble which good riojas are known for. A hint of undergrowth. 2013 drinking superbly in 2025. — 5 months ago

Enjoyed the 2020 a bit more. Solid wine but sweeter (just a touch so) than expected. Needs a bit more zip. The 2020 being a bit better makes me wonder if I should have kept the 2022 a little longer before opening — 4 months ago
Bright cherry w smoke and earth component Med body lush fruit flavors just developing tertiary notes. Well balanced w long finish. Wonderful now but will continue to evolve — 6 months ago
We had the 2010 Vintage on 6/15-16/25. A real nice Burgundy from Beaune. Strawberry, raspberry, clove, leather and and earthiness on the bouquet and palate. Light to medium bodied. Tannins all softened. Old World — 6 months ago
A big Rioja. Surprisingly ready to drink, tanins have softened, still powerful. Dark garnet color, aromatic nose of earth and herbs. Round Palate balanced and tasty. Recommended. Great VfM. — 8 months ago
Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — 2 years ago
Quite nice and a good price — 4 years ago
