Decanted for about 2-3 hours before serving. Incredible nose and flavor profile. Very gamey. Lots of stewed fruit. Little medicinal. But came through and paired exceedingly well with lamb kebabs.
Had a little funk as it aired out but really sang at hour 4-5. Good grip. Will be excited to open the next one — 5 months ago
Not what I expected i assumed elegance and was surprised that it was so full of fruit at this age. Another 5 yrs would help but right now it so pleasurable. — 6 months ago

2023– Best white wine I’ve ever had. So smooth and perfectly sweet. Paired with chicken paillard and Caesar salad with mom and dad — 5 months ago
2018 base. 4 grams dosage and disgorged 4/22. Nose is all wet earth and yeast. Lemon peel, toast, citrus (tangelo?) skin as well. Really nice, layered and complex aromas. Lonely, mineral and tree bark aromas as well. Palate is juicy and clean with explosive lemon and grapefruit citrus fruit and terrific purity and freshness. Good sap and very clean. Needs air as I reckon this has more to tell. Nose gets some saline as well with air and the palate becomes juicier. It’s very good but so far not special. Really has good palate presence. — 6 months ago
Faint fuscia and apricot on the nose, fruity on the palate. Medium full body. Delightful. — 6 months ago
An exceptional wine. Aubert never disappoints (CIX and Lauren vineyards are my favorites). Creamy and complex. Candied ginger, pear, and lemon zest. — 7 months ago
Mature but still vibrant with soft fruit and modest acidity. — 6 months ago
Pop and pour. A majestic medium dark ruby red color. On the nose: expressive notes of cherry, strawberry, soy sauce, sandalwood, forest floor, floral. Taste: lush, chalky, juicy wine with cherry/strawberry/raspberry, loamy soil, minerals, saline, and a spiced black tea/pine medium plus finish. YUM! — 6 months ago

Probably still a little young, but otherwise a really great bottle. Dark transparent ruby, with a woody-er edge to it. Some cherry pie, herbs, baking spices and tar aromas. Strong structure, making it feel young. Pretty large body for an Oregon Pinot! Going to age well for awhile. — 8 months ago

This wine has a light ruby tint to it. The nose is gorgeous. Fruit is the star, cherry and strawberry aromas, but a delicious earthy note adds complexity. The palate is just as juicy, and an earthy note pulls the fruit together here as well. The tannins are fairly tame, but the acidity is refreshing. Overall, it's a great wine for sipping, salads, or seafood. — 4 months ago
