Terra orca is right! The earth is coming at me and I’m seeing red. But not the red of fury, the red of passion, the red of pleasure, and the red of desire. One sip of this and desire for the pleasure of passion from this wine endures. The palate parties with minerals. — 5 years ago
One of the best Aubert pinots I’ve had. Everything working in seamless harmony. Gorgeous candied cranberries, fresh black cherries, herbal twang and freshly chopped cedar. Wonderful acidity with red plum, earth, kiss of maple, and baking spices. Very nice. Thanks @Dan Fitzgerald . — 7 years ago

Jack and Eileen liked lots. With pork chop - Eileen got her share. — 7 months ago
Been a while since I last opened one these bad boys. Still young but great bottle. Tons of precision. — 9 months ago
Not what I expected i assumed elegance and was surprised that it was so full of fruit at this age. Another 5 yrs would help but right now it so pleasurable. — a year ago
Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice! — 4 years ago
Wow. Terrific. Just getting into the window but approachable. — 5 years ago

Glad I got a case. Excellent — 7 years ago
Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 2-4g/l, Really great Meunier, quite young, but a beautifully structured style. — 9 years ago
Great QPR, the Delas Saint-Joseph François de Tournon Rouge 2011 displays baritone aromas of ripe plums, reduced blackberries, anise, wet embers, fruit cake and a a billowing smoky undertow on opening. It's equally glorious in the mouth, I especially like the interplay of tannins and acidity. It's well defined, black fruit bolstered by cedar and Garrigue, I'm enjoying it on its own, certainly, it has the potential to age over the next decade or so. Highly recommended. — 10 years ago

Juicy and opulent. Raspberries, cranberries, lavender, and a bit of spice. Satisfying finish. — 8 months ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromatic bouquet of red fruits with a matching palate. Plush and elegant. Well worth cellaring. A solid example of Grenache-dominant Chateauneuf-du-Pape. 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. — 10 months ago
This wine certainly delivered! Magnum in fantastic shape. Have loved every Aubert Chardonnay I tasted but first time having the Sugar Shack. Beautifully integrated ok in the nose and well balanced on the palate. Complex while still being lean. Perfect weight, long and rich finish. Awesome! — 5 years ago
Well that might the best $24 I spent. Couldn’t pass up a late vintage release. — 5 years ago
Amazing nose. Some complexities not often seen in rose. Earthy, forest floor tones on the nose intermixed with berries growing in the underbrush. Lovely acid and body. Sweet finish — 6 years ago
Medium bodied, good with food. Slightly earthy. — 10 years ago
