WNH event number 4. Perfect Pizza Pairing bottles. Not a bad bottle in the bunch!
My contribution. I was told that even though this is a Rosé, it drinks like a pinot. Couldn’t agree more. Dark ruby in the glass. Aromatically it was ripe strawberry, sage and vibrant citrus notes. Concentrated, yet light on the palate. Bing cherry, dragon fruit, watermelon finish. Incredible Rosé that should be viewed as a pinot. — 8 years ago

Cortona DOC Syrah 2012, 13.5%.
Bottle tasted in October 2014.
A beautiful wine by very well-known winemakers Marchesi Antinori. Syrah from Arezzo province is truly interesting: rich and enveloping nose, mature red fruits, a little spicy but very elegant.
Full-bodied in the mouth, with smooth tannins. Great body and persistence. — 12 years ago
Great wine balanced and fruity aroma (apple) — 14 years ago
Delicious white wine! Recommended by wegmans salesperson and I’d definitely get it again. — a year ago
Really tasty Napa Chardonnay with a nice balance of creaminess and minerality. Not too oaky, not too steely, but just right, with a touch of nutmeg on top. Enjoyed the 2016 vintage with lobster bisque and a grilled 3-lb lobster at The Palm Restaurant in LA. — 8 years ago
Blueberries cassis chocolate violet prune. Slightly chewy medium tannin. Medium minus acidity. Well balanced. Warm mouthfeel. Some jammyness comes a bit later. — 9 years ago
Nice hot day today and the cool white wine was just the ticket . Medium acidity and beautiful notes of fresh fruit and flowers had it with pork and will buy this one again and again — 9 years ago
2008 delightful and easy to drink. — 10 years ago
Great for a pre-meal drink! No oak, dry with a clean finish. — 11 years ago
Very light, refreshing — 13 years ago
Aged in new French oak. Pure Syrah. Inky ruby coloration. On the nose, dark cherry, cassis, minerals, earth, leather, vanilla. On the palate, full bodied, rich mouthfeel, dark berry, cassis, spice and loads of chocolate. Long chocolaty finish. Tannins still present and persistent. — 8 months ago

Powerful, medium bodied Barolo, with lots of texture, exquisite notes of spice, dark fruit, and lively acidity. Delightful with pork loin, making for a memorable winter evening. — 10 years ago
My first Freisa! Loving the Nebbiolo-like structure and body. — 10 years ago
Spicy, sweet, balanced, seductive pinot. Best 08 I have had next to Beaux Freres Beaux Freres. Exceptional. — 11 years ago
