Another delicious Laible GG. — 2 years ago
Astonishing how much acidity this has and how fresh it is. Unreal electricity from a so called low acid grape. Andreas Laible says this is a 25+ year wine. Insane structure. Unreal length. Superstar. Nose is pineapple, peach, some elegant VA but the palate is just insane. The quality is through the roof. It’s like 10% Rococo and 90% Laible. What a wine. — 2 months ago
13.2%. A perpetual favorite. This vintage seems more fruit driven compared to previous renditions. Quite dark. Cherries, raspberries, cranberries and some tea notes, well integrated tannins and dare I say “smooth” mouthfeel. Sadly/unfortunately in a different prize range compared to a decade ago. 75$ or so. Seems high to me. — a month ago
Needs an hour of air. Becomes magnificent at that point.
N: white flowers and lemon floor wax. A hint of Passion fruit with air.
P: sweet lemon. Hint of apricot. Mineral. Laible brightness. Not as mineral as the Klingelberger. Very good density. Amazing deliciousness. Long. A great drink.

Such a serious Scheuerbe. Gorgeous nose. Wild herbs, sweet lime, sage, blackcurrants. High toned and so wild. Aromas in neon lights. Palate is slamming. Concentrated, elegant and densely structured but oh so nimble and super pure. Unreal class and finesse. So stunning and what a finish. Savory and alive. Cannot wait to see what air does. — 5 days ago
