This is 2013 vintage. Seeing more dry (trocken) Rieslings from Germany and for good reason - they are delicious! Previously have enjoyed the von Buhl dry Rieslings. This wine has a nose of cut flowers and good depth of fruit on palate. Hints of white peach. Low acid cut indicates more drink now style. Will buy more. 17.5+ — 9 years ago

2014 Andreas Laible Weisser Burgunder Kabinett Trocken. Very animated nose. Floral, apply/tart peach, clean stony minerals, talcum powder. Richly fruited in the mouth, super clean, with a pillow-like texture. Not as complex tasting as the nose, but a lot of character. Good acidity. Easy drinking but with benefits. — 8 years ago

Breaktime from Xmas shopping with a refreshing lift from the Isarco Valley. Kerner is a personal favorite. With its lilting crisp acidity, white florals, honey, slate, and ripe green apple. I really really really heart Laible. Huge nose of lanolin, white flowers, clean sea salt and minerals upon minerals. A showstopper of a nose. Terrific palate with waves of pure fruit buffered by serious and intense 2013 acidity. Nobly structured wine needing a decant. Amazing density and complexity even when closed. This is one of my favorite producers in the Mosel, Andreas Resch. His wines are feminine, with amazing aromatics, rounder mouth feel, a lush wine but not flabby. Schlangegraben means "snake ditch vineyard." We hope to import his 2012 in the next few months. — 11 years ago
