A very enjoyable off the shelf back vintage here. Nothing terribly complex, but balance point has held up wonderfully after a decade in the bottle. — a year ago
Red cherry. More brick-like with old world vibes. More tart on the nose. Forest floor characteristics. — 4 years ago
I’m a fan. Opened one of my earliest purchases from the winery, and it’s so good. Ruby red, very good clarity, light to moderate pigment extraction. Black currant, raspberry and blackberry in nose with a hint of funk, red fruit galore in the mouth. Light skin and seed tannins, enough to remind you it’s still grape juice, albeit fermented. Really well crafted and balanced. Raspberry flavors starts early, cherry and some cranberry come later. Layers of red fruit depth, worth the wait. — 6 years ago
Would love to see more Oregon Gamay! — 8 years ago
Juicy. Bold. Equal to Lake Chelan. I love the hot valley rose of the pacific north west — 9 years ago

Nice grapefruit — 10 years ago
When I first opened, I was pretty shocked at how young it seemed. Lots of oak and restrained fruit. I decanted, and after an hour it began to show its age. Cigar box, leather, and currant. On the palate it was still fairly bright and mostly primary. Black fruit, some spice, a little vanilla on the back. Unmistakably new world. All in all drinking well for a nearly decade old wine. — 3 years ago
More fruit forward style. Like the reserve PN better. — 5 years ago
Costco. Oaky. — 6 years ago
So dense and velvety ... notes of burgundy with charred citrus and sandalwood... touches of rose but extracted red fruit ... desiccated cherry with tobacco, clay, and bramble. Super concentrated for Willamette. — 6 years ago
WNH event number 4. Perfect Pizza Pairing bottles. Not a bad bottle in the bunch!
My contribution. I was told that even though this is a Rosé, it drinks like a pinot. Couldn’t agree more. Dark ruby in the glass. Aromatically it was ripe strawberry, sage and vibrant citrus notes. Concentrated, yet light on the palate. Bing cherry, dragon fruit, watermelon finish. Incredible Rosé that should be viewed as a pinot. — 7 years ago

Wonderful light red. Fruit forward and very drinkable, not sweet. — 10 years ago
Lovely and lush. 2011 imminently drinkable now. — 11 years ago
Nose: hint oak. Airy. Hint sea breeze. Lovely. White flowers.
Palate: lovely sweet oak. Sweet wood. Rich. Not over the top. — a year ago

Still got it! Fantastic balance between lingering primary red fruits and full-on tertiary goodness: pomegranate, dried cherry, dried cranberry, mushroom, sage... if you got it, drink it! — 6 years ago
Took awhile to open up. Alcohol and licorice on the nose. Very full and floral. Thin and acidic on the palate. Kind of dry too — 6 years ago
Wow. Almost Chardonnay-like. A bit buttery. Great with fish. — 7 years ago
90% dark chocolate, black plum, long finish. Opens up with 20-30 minutes in the glass. — 8 years ago
Drinking this wine made me forget Donald Trump was our president. Which begs the question, is it better to have drank, then to never drank at all?
