Been tasting the Cristom Pinots lately. Louise Vineyard is heavier than the others, deep red with a big bouquet of red fruit aromas and aromatic spices. On the palate, raspberry and blackberry flavors with cacao notes in a bright spice. The wine comes off very smooth, light acidity and lingers to an almost creamy finish, holding on to its fruit.

Such good Pinot from Oregon. The nose on this wine is intoxicating. Beautiful representation of Willamette valley

"Burgundian" - over used. This is a fruit forward, overarching Oregon piece of perfect. Earth? Check! Acid? Check. Tannin... A bit! So good.
