Needs a 45 minute decant. Don’t pop and pour.
Nose: complex. Dense. Yellow fruits. A bit brooding. Almost dark minerals.
Palate: delicious. Such dense yellow fruits. Dense minerals. Dense and insane internal aromatics. So night and juicy but in a serious way. Mohammed Ali (float like a butterfly….)

What a beauty. Big red fruits. — 2 months ago
We had the 2007 Vintage on 2/21/26. An excellent aged Brunello. Leather, tobacco, raspberry, and rose petals. All the expected scents and flavors are there. I am glad we had this now; probably not going to be good much longer — 2 months ago
2023 vintage, deep cherry and floral aromas on the nose, light fruit forward taste with a smooth finish; decently balanced Sangiovese, great pairing with bolognese. — 2 months ago
Last of three bottles of this. It’s never been the fruitiest or friendliest Brunello. And it’s still quite tannic, but it’s resolving well and, in my view, at its peak. To wait longer for the remaining tannins to fully drop would be at the expense of the remaining fruit. Color is going brown at the rim. Nice intensity and decent balance right now. Mostly tertiary notes, but there is a core of morphing fruit underneath. Should go well with the Tuscan beef stew (Peposo) I’m making. — 3 months ago
