At Laundry at $195 for half bottle! Ouch. — 10 years ago
A tremendous burgundy value at 14 bucks a bottle. Restraint and moderate acidity with the anticipated minerality content at the end. A steal. — 10 years ago
Opulent, dense white fruit. Judy wanted more "crispness". These are wonderful wines. — 12 years ago
Something a bit funny here. A hint of melon. Lemon and limpid lime and rocks. Good, but lacks a bit of the punch and the jolt of acid you’d expect at this age. — 7 years ago
Rich but with a wonderful mineral edginess. With a steamed lobster. — 8 years ago
Medium to full bodied, corn chip nose, perfect balance of fruit to acidity and sous bois, develops in a very linear and controlled way across the palate. Big fruit. Great value in Burgundy. — 10 years ago
White flowers, almonds, lemon on the nose. Lemon lime zest, crisp lingering acidity great citrus finish. #alsace #albertboxler #pinotblanc — 11 years ago
Unfortunately a faulty bottle showing Premox. Unattractive nose - Oxidative and dirty. A second bottle opened which was brilliant and one of the wines of the bracket. One would be rightly pissed off to part with $1145 AUD for the first bottle. My score here based on 2nd bottle. @Delectable this is the Batard — 7 years ago
Tiny bottle of goodness. Fresh and balanced. — 8 years ago
Outshined by other fantastic burgundies in a tasting today, but good efforts. A little sulfur and matchstick on the nose, but good stone and chalk backing it up. Slightly more tropical perhaps as well. — 10 years ago
Although 2013 and very very young consuming at a restaurant we got to enjoy it a lot more as the time passed and it was decanted. This will be a beauty - shame but still lovely! — 11 years ago
Flowers, lemons, marzipan. With mellow flavors and crisp mineral finish. #alsace #christmas — 11 years ago
