Good quality Latour that’s holding up well. Nose was shy and took time to open. Color is still quite good. Not as assertive as I have had in the past- but still quality claret. At Bourbon Steak Santa Clara. Sommelier Rob was outstanding on all levels. — 6 years ago
Holding up so well. Another couple years in it for sure. — 8 years ago
From a magnum. Too young, a little different profile than what I think@of with the HS, a bit dry, lots of dusty tannin. I’m usually pretty good at picking this wine out blind, not sure I would have gotten this one right. Plenty of time if your holding one. — 8 years ago
Infanticide - Day 1: Violets, olives, some meat down there somewhere on nose. Tannic yet racy. So tight.
Day 2 - opening up with meaty notes. Tons of violet and dark purple fruit, great acid, super lithe, but still briny af.
Day 3 - more of Day 2.
Day 4 - opening little by little, great components, but not yet melding. But when this does, dayum! Holding remaining 5 for at least 3 years — 7 years ago
Exceptional bottle. I was totally surprised by this intro level Cab 😮 bell pepper, asparagus, wet leaves and forest floor. Fruits start to fade away but still holding together. Savory goodness. Not too much depth but this was hard to beat <$20 range. Perfect time to drink this 2010. 14.5% alc — 8 years ago
Exceptional. Still holding on to so much fruit! — 8 years ago
Just enough fizz to open it without a corkscrew. Hint of almond and green, still holding a good amount of acid. — 8 years ago
This is the bottle of wine we gave to our bridesmaids and groomsmen as a gift at our wedding. Fred and Juelle Fisher were kind enough to sign the bottles for us after we had them etched. It is still holding up ok. Not many tannins showing any more but it was pleasant on the nose and soft red fruit in mid palate. The sentimental value makes it the perfect wine for our 20rh anniversary. — 6 years ago
Pulled this from the cellar for an international guest. Still holding up well; much better than the 1983. — 6 years ago
1987 vintage holding up excellently, despite a weathered label on this particular bottle. — 7 years ago
Crazy good - guessed Medoc bordeaux - really holding up for an 83-85 pt vintage #SommCon 68% french oak — 7 years ago
Wow, incredible, and still holding up after all these years. Upon opening, basically no fruit, all secondary characteristics, especially on the nose. As it opened up, some dark cherry appeared and eventually the nose and palate came together. A sensory journey 48 Years in the making and a pleasure to partake. — 8 years ago
From a magnum...for a '90 there seems to be no color progression on it at all, even at the edges. There is a minty, herbaceous note to it but it has great blackberry flavors and nice firm tannins on the finish. Really incredible how well this is holding up and an outstanding expression of Napa Valley Cab! — 8 years ago

A good brick red plenty of tannic strength holding it together — 4 years ago
