9/29/22 Deep vertical of NV Cabernets @ BV One of the wines of the tasting. Dark plums, cassis. Wow. Very evolved

Brilliant stuff, American oak, still some power in there among the dust, dried flowers, and cigarette ash.. Last tasted about 30 years ago (yikes)

This is one of the most amazing wines I've had; graceful, balanced and full of flavor

Tasted blind. Dark ruby but tawny rims suggest some age. Dirty heavy fruit. Black fruit and camphor notes. Rustic old juice. Still very much alive. Great old cal cab.

An amazing bottle of history. Still a ton of fruit, complexity and a rocking finish.

Holding up nicely! Bit of menthol, a little fruit hanging on and notes of tobacco. Silky tannin and a touch of orange rind on the palate.

The right bank wine of the night. Still some baby fat at the outset but incredibly alive with years left.

One of the best wine I've had in a long time. This is a testament of why you wait for wines to age, it rewards your patience. Soft and ripe just perfect everything. Tannins are practically gone, acid Is Integrated and very jiithduo
